A quick note to say I have a new essay up on The BOSTON GLOBE, What To Say To Someone Who Has Lost Her Faith. There may be a pop-up paywall, but in an upper corner of the graphic you should see a faint “Close” and that ought to get you access to the piece.
Another essay just went live Wednesday on Oprah Daily, “How To Keep Someone You’ve Lost Close To Your Heart.” It’s about a ritual I’ve started doing on my son Cooper’s birthday. More about that here. I’m sorry to say, this piece is currently behind a paywall, but the editors tell me they are going to do a social media promotion for it next week, so they may make it accessible for a time. But please do check out Nicole Xu’s website. She created the beautiful artwork for the story, and her work is just gorgeous.
Thank you for being part of this community and my journey. I continue to wrestle with the questions that won’t go away. That being said, on Ash Wednesday I took myself to a noonday service at a nearby Episcopal church for the Imposition of Ashes and came home with lots to ponder. More on that soon.
Sending wishes to all for a good weekend.
