Krystal's Hamburgers was started in Chattanooga. Moon Pies are made there now. I threw in RC Cola because what else are going to drink to wash down that burger and dessert?

Yes. My grandfather immigrated to America from Russia in 1912 and went directly to Chattanooga because he had family there. My father was born in Chattanooga and lived his entire life there. I was born in Chattanooga and moved to Atlanta after college.

When we'd drive down to the beach, we'd get off the freeway in Montgomery and go down through all the little towns, Opp and Luverne and Florala. I loved that drive. 331 took us down past Defuniak Springs all the way to 98. Were you closer to Dothan?
