I am so sorry for your loss. They shadow us with protection and love even after they are gone. May his memory and his continued presence in your life be a blessing.
I'm so very sorry. Losing the furry member of our family is so hard. We know, when we adopt them, that our time will be short by comparison to our life. And yet that still doesn't make it any easier. My thoughts and prayers for comfort and for positive memories.
Dear Rebecca, I am so very sorry to hear about sweet Beasley. Most of us have been through this, and there are no adequate words to console us. It is a blessing to you both that you were with him when he transitioned. Please take care of yourself as you grieve.
Thank you, Linda. I'm grateful I could do it for him and could be there. There is just a huge gaping hole in my heart right now, shaped like a big, sweet Boxer.
I know. It will take some time, but eventually your heart will recover with happy memories. My last loss took almost two years. I had 5 rescue cats - now 4. Just had a cancerous mass removed from the belly of another last week. Waiting on the biopsy but trying not to think about it. I try to remember the cycle of life, but it doesn't really help. You will get there, but for now, you will hurt a lot. Just remember Beasley wouldn't want you to suffer too much.
I have known sweet Beasley since the beginning of your travels; I'm in tears but I know he knew he was lucky to have you for a mom...and he is not in pain. My dog Gracie and I send hugs and licks.
It is always so sad when a dear dog friend passes away. The depth of your sorrow shows the depth of your love.
Thank you, Cedric.

Thank you, Richard. So true, and how willingly we give our hearts and they give theirs. Hanging on to memories of good times.
So sad for you. It is such a difficult time. Grief is so real. Honor it. Meg
So sorry to hear the news. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

Thank you, Linda. I'm grateful for those of you who have "known" my boys and a little of their stories. Hug Gracie for me.
